Cut Out + Keep

Kiwi Cane

I bet you were wondering how to make this, I know I was!

This was my first kiwi cane. I have done sushi and oranges before. I'm really happy with how they came out, but I put our new oven on to high and it kinda burnt my stuff. But I still have my entire cane that I made! (I only cooked about an eighth of it :D) So REMEMBER! 255 degrees for 15 minutes :)

Description

This was my first kiwi cane. I have done sushi and oranges before. I'm really happy with how they came out, but I put our new oven on to high and it kinda burnt my stuff. But I still have my entire cane that I made! (I only cooked about an eighth of it :D) So REMEMBER! 255 degrees for 15 minutes :)

Instructions

  1. Small image499 1264615398

Colors= -Translucent mixed with a little green(for the center) -brown(for the seeds) -granny smith green(for the inside) -lighter brown(for the furry skin) -neon yellow, translucent, green{mixed together}(for the inside also.)

  2. Small image500 1264615595

Start with this - for the center roll this ball into a short chubby cilinder.

  3. Small image501 1264615688

Around your center- roll out a very thin piece of green and put cover the outside <- like this.

  4. Small image502 1264615784

Roll brown into a long skinny coil.

  5. Small image505 1264615820

Cut piece of the coil to fit the length of your cane. <<<

  6. Small image507 1264615858

Another thin sliver of green -and if you want- add more coils over that. (I did, you don't have to add anoter green layer again.) *set cane a side*

  7. Small image509 1264615958

now, with the lighter green(neonyellowgreentranslucent^), darker green, and the translucent balls. -Roll them into coils -twist together -roll out a little bit.

  8. Small image511 1264616169

Roll out another ball ( just plain green) and cut up into pieces like that <

  9. Small image512 1264616236

< then smush them together like that :)

  10. Small image516 1264616273

Grab your cane, and coil the cord we made up there ^ around the cane. < it's probably gonna look like this so just smush down the cord a bit so you can't see the brown or green inside.

  11. Small image517 1264616380

You don't have to add brown skin, but I just did anyway. Roll out to the size you want, cut it up and....

Voila! Kiwi Cane! :D (this was before it was cooked, sorry I didn't cook any more yet.) *Cooking Time* 255 degrees for 15 minutes.
