This is a simple way to make a bow just like Kiki's in the film, Kiki's Delivery Service. Personally I used felt, but any material can be used as long as you can sew into it! If you don't want to machine-stitch the fabric, it is just as simple to stitch up by hand.

This is a simple way to make a bow just like Kiki's in the film, Kiki's Delivery Service. Personally I used felt, but any material can be used as long as you can sew into it! If you don't want to machine-stitch the fabric, it is just as simple to stitch up by hand.

Instructions

1. Cut a square of red felt. Once folded in half, it should be the size you want the finished bow to be. Fold the square in half.

2. Sew along the three remaining sides of the rectangle. Pinch down in the middle of the rectangle and sew through the pinch so that it holds in place.

3. Cut a thin strip of red felt. Wrap it around the sewn-up pinch, to finish off the bow. Hand-stitch the strip in place and cut off any excess fabric and thread. Voila! That's it.
