These are just like a key lime pie but really easy to make. They are best served straight from the fridge. They can be served with the addition of green food colouring if you prefer the topping to be green in colour. You could also add lime slices to the top.
These are just like a key lime pie but really easy to make. They are best served straight from the fridge. They can be served with the addition of green food colouring if you prefer the topping to be green in colour. You could also add lime slices to the top.
Pre heat oven 350/160 degree. Crumb biscuits. Melt butter.
Add crumbs, almonds, sugar, cinnamon & butter together.
Stir to combine all above.
Press into pan/tin. Bake for 10 mins.
Separate eggs. Disregard whites.
Whip eggs for approx 2 min.
Add condensed milk. Mix for approx 2 mins.
Add lime juice a little at a time & whisk between addition.
Add lime mix ontop of base & bake for 15 mins.
Let cool & cut into squares. Keep refrigerated.
