Description

Is he cute or is he cute? Kenneth is really easy to make and makes a great present. I hope you enjoy this project!

Instructions

  1. Draw a faint carrot outline on to the orange felt. Remember to fold over the felt and pin it so that you will have two sides. Remember to make it a bit bigger than you actually want it. This is to allow space for the sewing and when you turn it inside out. Cut out the carrot.

  2. Take one of the sides and stitch zigzag lines across it to make it look more like a carrot. Stitch on the eyes and mouth on the same side. I used backstitch to do this.

  3. Now, cut out a small leaf shape and cut 'leaves' all the way down both sides. Again you will need two sides for this to make it 3D. Sew down the middle to secure.

  4. Place each side face down, sandwiching the leaves in between, and sew all the way around, leaving a gap for stuffing. Turn inside out and stuff. Sew up the hole and, Hey presto it's Kenneth the Carrot!
