my aunt taught me this knot when she visited this summer, and after some practice i used it in a bracelet. it's really easy to learn but kinda hard to make them perfect. post questions/comments below! i'd love any feedback :)

Instructions

1. 

   get your hemp/any type of cord you're using! you can use several strings or just one if you're just starting out, so decide what you want and tie a simple knot at the top. you won't need much if you're making the bracelet

2. 

   make a loop with one string...

3. 

   overlap the other string under the loop and over the end part of the loop's tail

4. 

   and through the bit that the loop string and the other string make (not the best description i know, haha but take a look at the picture)

5. 

   pull the end of the other string under itself (to make another loop), and then over the first loop

6. 

   tighten it, use more cords, add beads, whatever! keep going to make a bracelet, using however many knots to make it as long as you want, and you're done :)
