Colourway Make a total of 112 squares in the foll colours (with MC always used in Rounds 2 and 3): 23 baby pink 22 gold 22 pale green 23 deep pink 22 blue
Square Using A, make 4ch, join with ss to form a ring. Round 1: 1ch, 12dc in ring, cut A, do not fasten off, join MC with ss in first dc. (12 sts) Round 2: Cont with MC, 3ch (counts as fi rst tr), 1tr in same st, 2tr in each st to end, join with ss in top of 3-ch. (24 sts) Round 3: 3ch (counts as 1tr), 2tr in same st (first corner), 1htr in next st, 1dc in each of next 3 sts, 1htr in next st. *3tr in next st (second corner), 1htr in next st, 1dc in each of next 3 sts, 1htr in next st; rep from * twice more (four corners), join with ss in top of first 3-ch. Fasten off. Tip Sew in ends after making each square. When sewing in end of Round 1, sew around the stitches and pull tight to close up the hole in the centre.
Finishing Block and press squares lightly using a damp cloth. Set out 112 squares with 28 squares along x 4 squares deep, with the colours evenly spaced and with squares wrong sides facing up. With right sides together and MC, join squares in the sets of 4 (112 sets). Join these 112 sets together using MC and in the order set out. Block and press lightly on the wrong side. With right sides together, join seam. Turn right side out.
Edging With RS facing, join MC in one stitch to the side the seam. 1ch, 1dc in same st, 1dc in next and each st around top to end. Do not put a dc the seam. Join with a ss into first dc. Fasten off. Rep for the bottom edge. Tip When you are using this yarn, always wind skeins into a ball before crocheting.
