About

Certainly a classic look for J.Law, I used the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette to create a cool-toned charcoal gray smoky eye, balanced out with a true nude lip.

You Will Need (7 things)

  • Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette or comparable shades.
  • The Balm Batter Up Shadow Eyeshadow , Night Game
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil , Zero or favorite black liner.
  • Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara
  • NARS Blush , Orgasm
  • Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Highlighter
  • Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick , Naked 2

Steps (21 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

Start by taking a light brown shade, like Combust from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette.

  2. 2

With a fluffy blending brush, place this shade into the crease.

  3. 3

Next, grab the color Password, or any similar dark taupe.

  4. 4

Buff this into the crease, placing the color towards the outer third of the eye.

  5. 5

Take a black shadow base, like this one from theBalm, and place it on the lid, concentrated near the lash line.

  6. 6

Blend out the shadow base with a flat synthetic brush.

  7. 7

Next, take a deep charcoal shade, like Dagger, on a shader brush.

  8. 8

Pack that color on the lid over the shadow base.

  9. 9

With a clean blending brush, smoke out those colors.

  10. 10

Take a black liner and apply it to the upper lash line. This is the Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Zero.

  11. 11

Also take that liner and place it in the waterline.

  12. 12

Gently smudge the liner out along both the upper and lower lash line.

  13. 13

Take a bit of Black Market, or other dark charcoal shade, on an angled brush.

  14. 14

Smudge it along the lower lash line, avoiding the inner corner.

  15. 15

Apply your favorite volumizing black mascara. This is the Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara.

  16. 16

Next, sweep a peachy pink blush, like NARS Orgasm, on the cheeks.

  17. 17

Take a champagne toned highlight and place it along the tops of the cheeks and down the bridge of the nose. This is the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Highlight.

  18. 18

With that same product, lightly highlight the brow bone.

  19. 19

As well as the inner corner.

  20. 20

Apply your favorite nude lipstick. This is Urban Decay Naked 2.

  21. 21

    And that's the finished look!
