About
I really like Jackalopes at the moment, so I decided to make a flower crown with felt rabbit ears and branches to look like antlers for Beltane.

You Will Need (8 things)
- Headband
- White Felt
- Branches
- Flowers (real or fake)
- White Ribbon
- Glue
- Needle & Thread
- Scissors
Steps (13 steps, 25 minutes)
-
1
Gather your supplies. You'll need a couple of branches which look like antlers, so head into the forrest and hunt. You can either use real flowers or fake ones to decorate your crown or a mix of the two - so keep an eye out for pretty flowers too.
-
2
Start by cutting two 2" squares from white felt and fold the opposite corners together into a triangle.
-
3
Pinching the triangle at the bottom, fold either side backwards to create an ear shape.
-
4
Pin in place where you've been pinching and cut off excess fabric from the bottom and sides to make it look more ear like.
-
5
Stitch at the bottom.
-
6
Make two cute ears.
-
7
Trim your branches to the right size for antlers.
-
8
Tightly wrap some white ribbon around your headband. Starting at one end, folding, glueing and winding up towards the middle.
-
9
Glue your first ear in place and secure onto your headband by wrapping the ribbon around the bottom of the ear.
-
10
Glue and tightly wrap a branch in place for your first antler.
-
11
Continue your way around the headband until your reach the other end.
-
12
Pick some flowers.
-
13
Glue along the middle of your crown and you're done!
