My sister the art historian might say that this piece represents, in a symbolic fashion, the music industry and is a metaphor for the meltdowns, burnouts and plasticity of popular artists. But it's not art, it just went wrong. To achieve this stunning effect DON'T follow anyone's instructions. Use a tiny table top convection oven. Forget to use the rotate facility so one side of the vinyl is right next to the element. Place on a metal bowl instead of glass or ceramic. Put the bowl in upside down and balance the record on top. THEN... Peel it off the then ruined mixing bowl with a spatula.
