I was cosplaying as iron man an need an arc reactor. All the ones I could buy didn't look good or cost to much for my cheep wallet. Because my dad is a real fix it guy, I just used stuff from his junk drawer. I used blue thin plastic to make the backing. I cut the plastic off of an old cable I had to get the wiring. Once I assembled the reactor I sewed it onto my costume with fishing line (poke holes around the edge of the plastic before you sew. They will come in handy.)You can put a light under the reactor for a glowing effect. (I suspended a small head lamp by the straps of my bra.)
