You Will Need (7 things)

  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 4 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Water

Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

In a sifter add Dry Ingredients
Make a well in the center

  2. 2

pour in 1 1/2 cups water and apple cider vinegar in the same cup. Then pour in the well of bread.

  3. 3

Stir from middle outward in increasing circles until dough is soft and wet but not sticky. If it is sticky sprinkle flour, knead, until soft dough is formed

  4. 4

When mixed take dough on a floured surface, and with washed hands pat hard into a round ball. Pat down until dough is about 1 1/2 inches thick

  5. 5

    Transfer onto greased cookie tray
Cut a deep cross into top of loaf and prick the four corners.

  6. 6

Bake in the (pre-heated) oven for 15 minutes at 450 Degrees F, then turn down to 250 Degrees F for 30 minutes until cooked.

If you doubt your ability. Pick up loaf and tap bottom should sound hallow :)

  7. 7

Brush with butter on top and allow to cool

    ENJOY!
