In a sifter add Dry Ingredients Make a well in the center
pour Buttermilk in the well of bread. ((Don't have buttermilk handy?? Look for my How-to to create your own Buttermilk AT home in just 5 minutes))
Stir from middle outward in increasing circles until dough is soft and wet but not sticky. If it is sticky sprinkle flour, knead, until soft dough is formed.
When mixed take dough on a floured surface, and with washed hands pat hard into a round ball. Pat down until dough is about 1 1/2 inches thick
Transfer onto greased cookie tray Cut a deep cross into top of loaf and prick the four corners.
Bake in the (pre-heated) oven for 15 minutes at 450 Degrees F, then turn down to 250 Degrees F for 30 minutes until cooked. If you doubt your ability. Pick up loaf and tap bottom should sound hallow :)
Brush with butter on top and allow to cool ENJOY!
