You will need to gather: One 4 inch piece o ribbon one button one piece o interfacing 7 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches Two pieces of choice fabric 7 1/2 X 6 1/2
First line up and Iron the interfacing to the bottom, wrong side of one piece of fabric.
Next line up to the pieces of fabric, right sides together.
You are also going to attach your ribbon in this stage. Loop inside with about an inch to an inch and a half hanging out. Make sure you do this at the would be top of your case! Sew all the way around except for a 2 to 3 inch hole on one side.
Turn completely right side out. Half way there! After ironing for good measure, very close to the edge at the top sew a basic top stitch all the way across.
Fold the cfabric in half and pin. Now at this point you have an option. you can stitch all the way around the case minus the top as i did. OR you can stitch just the open side and bottom, then flip right side out. completely up to you. i liked seeing the stiches in mine, so there : )
now you need to actually slip your ipod into the pouch. fold over the top, and mark where your button needs to be placed. Sew on without going all the way through the pouch. MEANING only sew through the first layer exterior fabric!
and Viola! Your ipod case is complete!
