For me the inside of a homemade garment is just as impotent as the outside. Every piece of clothes I make is a love letter for my self. And when i take a homemade piece of garment on and see a beautiful made inside it just makes me happy and proud. That is why I always do something special with my hemlines and here is one more. This one I often use for jackets, wool dresses and skirts.

Fold the fabric on bias.
I always cut my basis tape with a roller cutter, but if you don’t have a roller cutter you can cut them with a scissors. I always cut my bias tape 3.5 cm wide.
If the bias band is too short for you garment you can sew them together like this.
pin the bias tape to the edge of the where you want to hem your garment.
Sew the bias tape to the edge Press the bias tape over the edge Fold it like on the photo
Press the bias band up like this.
Sew the bias tape by hand
