This rainbow cowl is made from 2 balls of Sirdar Indie yarn using 8mm needles. I made it for my trip to Europe this year. I casted on 50 stitches and knitted the stockinette stitch until it could fit nicely around my neck. This is a perfect project for a beginner as they will be able to learn both the knit and purl stitch and finish the cowl quickly as it is made of very chunky yarn.
