I adore flower crowns, mostly because they seem to capture a mood. Would you believe, it's actually super easy to put one together yourself using flora from the world around you? In a recent trip to the beach with my sister, we loved the muted colours of the plants growing in the sand and decided to take this inspiration to the next level by making an impromptu flower crown. It's easy! All you need is a bit of tape handy to put it together. Start with the sturdiest piece of flora you can find to make the base of your crown. Gather bits and pieces from the world around you and gradually build them up on your base until you have something that gives you the same feeling that the place your visiting does. All you need it to have some tape with you, which is an easy thing to add to bag, bike pannier or car if your handy-girl tool kit doesn't contain it already.
