IIIINCHWOOORM... IIIINCHWOOORM... MEASURING THE MARIGOLDS... I found the easiest way to make some utterly adorable little caterpillars! Go ahead and stick him on some plants, on your desk, on a bookshelf (he can be a book worm if you draw on some glasses!) or even use him as a cat toy! The possibilities are limitless!

You Will Need (4 things)

- Permanent Marker
Steps (15 steps, 5 minutes)

1
First of all, get some yarn. You won't need much, don't worry.
-
2
Now get some scissors...
-
3
...And a permanent marker... (black is preferable but you can use another color if you so choose)
-
4
...And now the piece de resistance. Some hair scrunchies! I just went to Five Below and snagged a five dollar bag of em, but whatever. If you have one lying around the house, that would work, too.

You're gonna need scrunchies like this so that their nice and chubby.
-
6
Take a scrunchie (green is probably the best for realism's sake, but if you want a different colored caterpillar, more power to ya)...
-
7
...cut it once.
-
8
Now you should have a chubby broken scrunchie thingy.
-
9
Cut a little bit of the yarn. About a foot is good.
-
10
Tuck one end of the scrunchie's end under at about a half inch over.
-
11
Tie the tucked end with the yarn.
-
12
Make a cute little bow! Yay! Now caterpillar has a head!
-
13
Cut away excess yarn ends. Yay! Now caterpillar has a nicely groomed head!
-
14
But what about a face? OMG! You'd better draw one on with the permanent marker! Stat!
