Description

An easy hand stitch! It's very useful when creating plushes or pins.

Instructions

  1. Small 2018 02 27 210042 acs 0097

Thread strands of embroidery thread through needle, leaving about a four inch tail and knotting the long end.

  2. Small 2018 02 27 210250 acs 0099

Insert needle into fabric and pull through so the knot catches.

  3. Small 2018 02 27 210237 acs 0100

Add top layer of fabric. Bring needle around the edges and back through the front, pushing the needle through both layers of fabric. Be sure not to pull too tightly or you can damage the felt.

  4. Small 2018 02 27 210232 acs 0101

Continue to do this, keeping your stitches evenly spaced, until you reach the end.

  5. Small 2018 02 27 210226 acs 0102

On your last stitch, pull the needle through the loop and gently pull to create a knot. Pull needle through that loop to create a double knot.
