An easy hand stitch! It's very useful when creating plushes or pins.
An easy hand stitch! It's very useful when creating plushes or pins.
Thread strands of embroidery thread through needle, leaving about a four inch tail and knotting the long end.
Insert needle into fabric and pull through so the knot catches.
Add top layer of fabric. Bring needle around the edges and back through the front, pushing the needle through both layers of fabric. Be sure not to pull too tightly or you can damage the felt.
Continue to do this, keeping your stitches evenly spaced, until you reach the end.
On your last stitch, pull the needle through the loop and gently pull to create a knot. Pull needle through that loop to create a double knot.
