Start by pinning the upper part of your hair up with bobby pins or alligator clips.
Tease the roots all around your head, and spray with hair spray. This will ensure that the extensions stay in well.
Pin the back into a french twist. It doesn't have to look like anything special--this is just to hide the short hairs from peeking through. I usually tease all the back and spray it before pinning it so it stays really well.
Add the extensions. I try to overlap them slightly, so that it's thicker in the back.
Because I had just curled my extensions, they were looking pretty crazy, so I gently pulled apart the curls with my fingers and pulled the curls down to relax them a little bit.
Let down the top part of your hair, and curl lightly. I usually just do the front and sides a bit.
Pull the hair around back and to the side into a side pony-tail. This covers the weird short bits that don't really look right.
Pin any stray bits that are hanging out. Spray down any pieces that may poke out.
All finished! This usually takes me about 10 minutes in the morning if I'm lucky enough to do my hair while my daughter naps!
