I had to use a round pizza cardboard to trace the circle onto the wood and cut it with a coping saw. My hands went numb and it was painful because I have arthritis in my wrists, but I got it done. The legs were made of store bought dowels, though. I used a drill to make pilot holes in the top and bottom pieces and then screwed them together, again by hand (A screwdriver). I painted the entire thing with black gloss spray paint and modge-podged an MC Escher illustration from a book I had bought. It took me about 10 hours becausre of the saw and screwdriver, but it was worth it. I now have this amazing decorative accent table. You may be able to get the round pieces of wood premade at Home Depot or something, much easier.
