i can't swallow pills at all for some reason, so i crush them up and put them in a scoop of ice cream. i can't taste them at all, not even a little bit. i think it's cuz the cold numbs my tongue to it? i'm not sure. but it beats putting it in tea or yogurt like i used to. that was nasty..made me want to puke.
A friend of mine years ago crushed his meds and put them in pudding cups, he said he couldnt tell the difference so thats also a good way to take them if you have a hard time swallowing pills. It used to be hard for me, it got easier but I just got these giant Omega supplements and Im back to gagging every morning haha!
A trick I learned from my pastor's wife, don't tilt your head back when you swallow pills, it closes the throat. Keep your head level for it to stay open. I had a big gag reaction to swallowing pills and this has helped a lot.
WOOOW this is a awesome solution , not for me i'm used to swallow them all together just with a little sip of water, but for my friends their kiddo's

be sure to ask your pharmasist when you get the pills if they can be crushed and taken with milk in most cases this will be fine but better safe than sorry
miriam e. said something about not all pills working when crushed. Also check if you can use milk with the medication (it's not always the case). I think honey would be less of a problem, unless you're trying to give a child under 1 year old the stuff.
I never have problems with pills. I can even swallow some of them without any liquid. ;-)

I do love this idea. And it can work with most meds. But I would suggest asking your pharmacist if the tablet can be crushed first. Some meds don't work the right way when crushed. But great idea! tastes great.
