Refashion an old piece into a snazzy tuxedo skirt perfect for the office or special occasions.
A tuxedo skirt is a slick alternative to an ultra-trendy piece, so refashioning a plain Jane garment into a classic wardrobe essential seems a no-brainer to me. And what girl doesn't love to don a chic skirt that makes her feel cool, calm and collected?

    Step 2

Cut ribbon to the length of skirt plus four inches.

The grosgrain ribbon can be as wide or narrow as you want. I used 2.5 inch wide ribbon for this project. A wider ribbon would make your tuxedo strip more visible from the front or back.
