The easiest DIY Marble Tray EVER

About

Ever since I moved into my first apartment back in the fall, I’ve discovered how obsessed I am with all things marble. If there is a more classy, elegant pattern, I’m unaware of it.

It’s quite the pervasive pattern, too. Target, for example, has stunning marble decor, from lamps to tables to small accessories.

One item that I’ve had on my decor wish list for months is a marble tray. A large catch-all that I could use anywhere from the kitchen to the living room. But have you seen the outrageous prices for marble trays?! I've seen some for around $200. Insane.

But Pinterest always comes to the rescue! As soon as I saw a tutorial on The House of Wood, I knew I had found a way to finally possess the marble tray of my decor dreams.

I NEVER thought about purchasing a marble tile and transforming it into a tray, but that’s why I love Pinterest. This DIY is so simple it seems to good to be true. But trust me, it’s not.

I purchased my supplies at Home Depot and Walmart.
