One day, I'm on the phone with my friend. She tells me she spent like $8.00 for a bottle cap choker not including a bottle cap! I thought that was a little nuts, so I made my own :)

First of all, collect your items. Measure your neck. Cut the elastic according to. Make the lace ALOT longer, it will bunch up (you want that) and if its still too long, you can cut it later. Then, wash your bottle caps.
If you want, flatten your caps. If you don't, you can skip this step! Flatten the caps with pliers.
This is tricky. Grab your elastic and lace and sewing machine. Sew it a little like normal. Then, GENTLY pull the elastic along with one hand, while the other guides the lace. You might need someone to help steady BOTH lace and elastic.
After your done sewing, grab your needle, thread, and claps. 1st) you check and see if the choker is too big or too short. 2nd) sew the claps onto the ends of the choker.
Take the magnet and glue it into the middle of the necklace. Hold it together by clips.
Your done with the choker. Put aside. Trace the size of your bottle cap. Draw the design you want.
Grab your nail polishes. Paint the INSIDE of the bottle cap according to your design.
Your done! Wear with pride and post Versions! If you have any questions, comment!
