How To Fix A Hole In A Sweater Sleeve

For best results choose a fabric that does not fray Reduce the pattern if necessary to match the size of the hole Transfer the pattern to the fabric
Put the cardboard in the sleeve of the sweater to avoid taking up the two layers of sweater when sewing
Apply the piece to the sleeve and pin it in place. Sew it with a double thread and small forward stitches, 5 mm from the edge. Note: if the wool of the sweater is not too fragile, it is possible to glue the piece with textile glue
Overlap the second sleeve so as to adjust the piece symmetrically and sew it on the sleeve
