we're going to start in the middle of the hat. Ch 3 and sl st to the first made ch st to make a ring.
Round 1: Ch 3, this will count as your first double crochet.* Make 11 double crochet into the ring* now there 12 stitches
Round 2: ch 3 *make 2 dc in each stitch*join tog with the first stitch. There are now 24 stitches
Round 3: ch 3 then make 2 dc in the same stitch as the ch 3. *Ch 2 skip 1 stitch then make 3 dc in the next stitch.* join tog with the first stitch
Round 4: Ch 3 turn 2 dc in the ch 2 spaces. * Ch 2, 3 dc in the next ch 2 spaces* join tog with first stitch
Round 5: Repeat round 4, join tog with first stitch
Round 6: Ch 3 then do 1 dc in each next 2 dc *1 dc in each ch 2 space and dc 3 in the dc 3 spaces. Join tog with the first stitch
Round 7: Ch 3, 3 dc, dc2tog. *4 dc ,dc2togo join tog with the first stitch
Round 8: Ch 3 then we do 2 dc, and dc2tog *And then 3 dc, and after that dc2tog join tog with the first stitch
Round 9: the last step is pretty easy, sc all around and join tog with the first stitch.
