I used all old stuff that I had on my room, so my project budget is really nothing! The mini-dressers were bought by my mom when I was 7 or 8, the tempera paints were the leftovers of my art classes in secondary school and the eyeliner was expired. For the draws I got the inspiration from wall-stickers I've seen on DaWanda (http://en.dawanda.com/category/1314-Home-Living-Wall-Decoration)

If you have one of those mini-dressers with mini-drawers that IKEA sold back in the 90's, and you were a child back then, then surely you'll had written on them, put stickers or points or nail polish or whatever on them... I did... >__>' Mines were terrible, really... This one I'm showing was the intact one... Well, 2 nights ago I couldn't sleep because of insomnia, so I began thinking about how I could renovate my room. I ended with a lot of funny ideas (and finally I fell asleep!) and this is the first I made! Hope you like it!
So, I took the mini-drawers, cleaned them with rubber where they had writtens, and then with a wet sponge. Then I used tempera paints (only on the front face) and a large brush and painted them.
This is the final result of the second mini-dresser. I made every drawer of a single color, ad painted every one of them 2 times, making the tempera paint dry before the second colouring.
This is when I put the drawers into the dresser, to control the result. The one on the right is the first dresser I made yesterday and I'm really proud of it!!! (...the rest is just normal mess you can find anywhere on my room... I'm working on it, I swear...)
When the color was dried, I used an old black eyeliner to draw on the drawers. The one with the chicks went not so well because I've drawn them without painting the base, and then I painted the rest of the drawer, but this way the wood absorbed immediately the color, and it came out dull. THEN I've learned the lesson: first color the drawer, then make the draws. ...and, yes, I've got a Vegeta sticker on my bed. I'll never grow up and I'm proud of it!
This is the final result! =)
well, that's all! Mew mew!
