Honeycomb Planter
This planter came out beautifully! I can’t wait to put a beautiful succulent in it and set it out on the patio to enjoy.

I got these paints from Jacquard and I was really surprised by how well a “fabric paint” worked on Terracotta. It was ridiculously vibrant, fast drying and easy to clean off my skin. Not to mention totally beautiful! They’re pigment based so I didn't expect them to be as full and rich as they were. This gold color practically shines from my patio!
I really loved working with the paints. They were beautiful, vibrant and a total dream to work with.

The ingredients. You don’t necessarily need the plate but it’s nice to have a clean surface to set your sponge down on.

All you have to do is place your pattern onto your planter and sponge on your paint. I tried to tape down the edges but it was basically fruitless.

Once you achieve the pattern that you’re looking for, just set it aside for a few hours to dry then you can do whatever you want with it. Mine didn’t come out perfect, but I like it and I think that its flaws give it character.
