When hanging my earrings onto my earring wall, I noticed that some pairs had crappy hooks. However, when I went to replace them I found that I was out of hooks. So I made my own. For the kind of beads, see my first image. I don't know what they're called. ;-)

Gather your supplies.
Put a round and a tube bead onto an eye pin. Choose beads in the colors of the earrings you'll hang on the hook, or just go wild.
Make a bend of almost 90 degrees so that the tube can not slide upwards anymore. This will keep the round bead onto the eye and thus secure it.
Now bend the rest of the eye pin round. Use a purchased hook as an example. Be careful to keep the straight bend in it.
Slightly bend the end of the eye pin upwards a little and compare with your example. Repeat above steps for the second hook and you have a nice pair of homemade earring hooks.
