Dippin Dots are one of those things I always just assumed you couldn’t make at home. Turns out I was (very happily) wrong! All you really need is wax paper, a ziploc bag, and a piping tip. I made mine strawberry cheesecake flavored, but you could make a simpler version by skipping Step 1 and using some yogurt, softened ice cream, or pudding.
Mix together 8 oz strawberry yogurt, 4 oz cream cheese (at room temperature), and 1/4 c powdered sugar.
Line a baking sheet with wax paper, then scoop your mixture into a ziploc bag fitted with a small, round piping tip.
Pipe lots of small dots onto the wax paper. It takes a lot of tiny dots to fill a small bowl, so you may need two baking sheets and you’ll want to space them pretty close together.
Freeze overnight or at least two hours.
Scoop the dots into a small bowl using a spatula. For best results, chill your bowl in the freezer before serving.
