Homemade Corn Bread

You Will Need (12 things)

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 3 tbsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Egg(s)
  • 1 Measuring Cup(s)
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Glass Oven Safe Pan

Steps (5 steps, 30 minutes)

    In your mixing bowl mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    Mix together the dry ingredients well with your spoon. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Add eggs, vegtable oil, milk. Mix with your mixing spoon the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and stir until mixture is smooth.

    Slowly pour the mixture into your baking pan. Bake in oven pre heated to 400 degrees and bake for 23-27 minutes or until golden brown on top.

    Allow to cool for a few minutes and cut the cornbread, serve with butter and preserves and enjoy!
