I was searching through all my old picture files when I found a bunch that I had taken for a tutorial a while back. Since I don't have a place to put them, I thought you guys may be interested in trying this with your kids...

You'll need: Reynold's Baking Cups (just the tin foil part)
Plastic candy molds (any shape). You can find these at Michael's craft store in the baking section.
Lotsa crayons, peeled and broken into pieces.
Put the broken pieces into seperate baking cups.. You can keep the colors seperate or make combinations if you like. I'd put 2-3 crayons in each baking cup.
Put them on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven at around 350 degrees for a few minutes. DO NOT USE THE MICROWAVE! Keep an eye on them, because they'll melt pretty quick. When they're completely liquified, take the cookie sheet out of the oven and carefully pour the wax into your candy molds.
Allow them to cool and turn over the candy molds to get them to pop out. Voila! You just made your own crayons! And check out that awesome spelling from my nephew, Winston. Ain't he smart?
