Lay a light colored flat bed sheet on ground (white or ivory recommended). Pinch the center and twist wrist clockwise to form a small circle.
Using the same twisting motion as in step one, surround the large middle twist with a bunch of small twists.
Tips: to minimize paint splatter, start spraying in one motion on a paper towel then move the spray onto the project for painting. Cover large middle twist with first color. Using the same spray motion, spray around the first large twist with a different color to create a bulls-eye effect (experiment with gathering the sheet in any pattern or direction you want).
Repeat step 3 on all of the surrounding smaller twists.
Spread sheet out and lightly mist the remaining white or ivory areas using the same colors and allow to dry for at least 30 minutes.
Once completely dry, cut the large sheet into individual pieces for wrapping
We wrapped two books following Furoshiki wrapping demo videos, visit youtube.com
Finished present! Great way to go "green" this season and replace wrapping paper, ribbon, gift bags and tissue.
