I used to have quite alot of just plain jars that aren't good enough to use in the kitchen etc. but arent bad and plastic to through out.
I used to have quite alot of just plain jars that aren't good enough to use in the kitchen etc. but arent bad and plastic to through out.
So get all your ingrediants out I used mod podge but I think you could use pva glue, the potato sac I got from the local fruit markets I just asked them, I saw ones for sale but I got mine free. If you are going to use this to make a pot for a plant I reccomend a narrow jar, if you are going to use this for storing like flour or oats it would be more useful to use a bigger jar.
with the potato sac wrap around the glass jar you have chosen too check the length, mark the length with a pen or pencil. Then add on about 3 cm.
if wrapping around a narrow jar cut the material thinner or if a big jar cut the material thicker. So cut either a thick or thin strip.
Using the glue and your paintbrush(try to make it an old one because if you don't wash it just right it can be ruined) apply glue to the size of your strip around the jar.
Glue the strip onto the jar, if glue is not seaping through the small holes put more glue ontop.
There should be an excess hemp. Get out your stapler and staple the hemp together trying not to move the wet glue under the materiel.
Now wait for about an hour and then you can choose either to add a small safety pin with a nametag or not. Hope this goes well for you!
