I had a pair of blue Old Navy flip flops that were already broken in, I wore them for little over a year. Then a project idea popped in my head. I started out sanding them down with sandpaper. Then I wiped it down with water to somewhat smooth out the surface, let it dry. Drew the flowers design in pencil. I painted inside the lines, I let it dry for a day. Then I put finisher over each part of the design. Let it dry again. I did a durability test too them in the shower with me, and only a small piece faded just needed a little more surface and finisher. I'm continuing to reapply a little more coats of finisher to protect the design. Then they will be ready for wearing. For both boys and girls of all ages even adults. Perfect for the pool, around the house, a trip to the store, where ever you can flip and flop in style because they are eye catching you may get some looks.
