***First of all, sorry I didn't post this as a version of the Fan Bag! I only didn't because the title came up as a bag, whereas mine is a skirt. :P Pretty much, I took the main idea from Stevie G.'s fan bag, and added some of my own twists to it. Except, instead of using an old pair of jeans, I used an old skirt I had lying around that I didn't really wear anymore. I but off the frayed selvage part of the fabric to use at the bottom of the skirt, bought an iron-on Gryffindor patch from eBay, and sewed the 2 colours of fabric together to make the sash. :)The ends of the sash are strands of yarn folded in half, then sewn across the end of the sash. The "Harry Potter" and the snitch were done with glittery gold fabric paint, and I didn't have any silver paint so I just put loose silver sparkles on top of the gold paint. :) I also made a matching top using Simplicity pattern 6789.
