Description

Well, I had to do this as a college project. It does take time.. but its worth it. Thank you

Instructions

  1. Small bottle 1 1313936937

Take a normal plastic bottle.. (I have used a juice bottle)

  2. Small bottle 2 1313936974

Cut it into two parts, a) The top portion b) The bottom portion as shown in the picture.. This can be done easily with a cutter.. I used a paper cutter..

  3. Small bottle 3 1313937220

Mark three points,on the top portion of the bottle, as shown in the picture.Pierce holes at those points. (I did it using a compass)

  4. Small bottle 4 1313937819

Turn the bottom portion up-side-down and mark three points as shown in the picture. And pierce through them. (Again, I did it using a compass)

  5. Small bottle 5 1313938576

Now, Cover the bottom portion with ice-cream sticks. I used Feviquick to stick them. Allow it to dry and stick firmly.

  6. Small bottle 6 1313939633

Cover the top portion as shown. I have covered it with Banana Fiber. Thin jute rope can also be used.

  7. Small 100 8408 1313940136

Once that is done, attach both the portions using chains. (they can be purchased or can be made. I have used copper chains that I made) You will have to attach the top portion to the bottom portion as shown in the picture.

  8. Small bottle finished 1313940414

The last step would be to connect chains to the top part of the bottom portion. They should be attached together using a hook. (Again, this can be purchased at a store or made.. I've used a hook I made using copper wire) Fill it with flowers and your Hanging Flower vase is ready:)
