An easy upcycling project to turn a box and some wallpaper into a lovely handmade gift, packed full of memories.
Cut a length of wrapping paper, offcut of wallpaper or a piece of fabric to fit around the old cardboard box you plan to use.
Cover the old box in double-sided sticky tape.
Peel the backing off the double-sided sticky tape and press the wallpaper/wrapping paper onto each side of the box.
Make a cut at each corner and tuck the excess paper inside the edges of the box.
Fold the ends in to a point, as if you're wrapping a present. Use double sided tape to stick this to the side of the box.
Use more double-sided sticky tape to secure the loose edges inside the box.
Write the word 'memories' or another message onto paper and use double-sided sticky tape to glue the banner to the lid of the box.
Fill with memories (photos, notes, tickets etc), sweets and small treats or gifts.
Wrap a ribbon around the box twice and tie into a beautiful bow.
