A cute and quick project that could be used for macrame, embroidery, gift wrapping or anything that takes your fancy. Why stop at red, white and blue?

You Will Need (6 things)

  • Sticky Tape
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Colouring Pens
  • Small Piece Of Cardboard
  • White Embroidery Thread

Steps (6 steps, 5 minutes)

    Tape the end of the embroidery thread onto the bottom of the piece of cardboard and wrap around until a desired length.

    Cut the excess thread off and stick the end to the back of the piece of cardboard.

  3. 3

    Using a ruler and a colouring pen, draw lines onto the embroidery thread.

  4. 4

    Then repeat with the other colour. Turn the cardboard around and repeat on the back, making sure that the lines are in the same direction as on the front.

    Cut the ends off the cardboard.

  6. 6

    Voila! You have finished.
