   I found that my handbag handles were getting pretty bad from constant friction.

   I still want to use it, so I decided to try and add a little decoration to hide the worn out parts.

   First, I chose a lovely japanese fabric that had colours I thought would compliment the bag.

   Next, I cut two pieces a bit longer than the length of the handle that I wanted to cover.

   The excess will create a pleat in the middle.

   *I used scrap ribbon as a reinforcement for the edges

   Finally, I secured the pieces to the handle and finished the ends as neatly as possible.
