In this mini DIY project, we show you how to make a special gift tag from wood, using our hand lettering wood burning tool to give a gift that final finishing touch. Using a stamp to trace over makes this project suitable for beginners. But experienced crafters will also get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

In this mini DIY project, we show you how to make a special gift tag from wood, using our hand lettering wood burning tool to give a gift that final finishing touch. Using a stamp to trace over makes this project suitable for beginners. But experienced crafters will also get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Instructions

1. 

   Using pigment ink, stamp a pattern or text onto the wood and leave to dry thoroughly.

2. 

   For fine brush texts, use the curved tip so that you can do your hand lettering in smooth strokes. Use a wider straight tip for larger letters.

3. 

   Use the fine, pointed tip to burn some small figures as decoration.
