Loop the string through the circle at the end.
Continue looping as many times as you can. *Thicker strings will make fewer loops.
Even out the loops.
Cut out colorful squares from magazines (one per petal).
Wrap one around each petal and snip away excess paper.
Finally, glue, tape, or varnish the petals so that they do not unwrap. *You may want to temporarily hold them with a clothespin and varnish them later.
