gather all your materials -metal cutters -metal wire(i used 16 gauge-you can get this at home depot for cheap! also its safe for jewelry making) -guitar pick(store bought or homemade) -paper punch -needle nose pliers -sand paper -1 large jump ring -necklace chain
you want to cut around 3in of your wire and straighten it out as straight as possible then you want sand the ends so they are not sharp
ok so this part might be hard to understand but the pics are pretty self explanatory -you take your pliers and make a loop at one end -then you bend your wire so that first loop is facing inward -next you make your second loop -again bend your wire but this time the loop is facing outward (both loops need to be facing in same direction) now you got your music note charm!
now there is two ways to make a hole in your guitar pick, i used a paper punch which was the hardest way but i wanted a bigger hole -paper punch: figure where you want your hole to be, put your pick between your paper punch and squeeze as hard as you can, then you're going to move your pick back and forth until it makes a hole -safety pin and candle: now this is the easiest way to make a hole in plastic but not the safest, so your going to light any candle and heat your safety pin (around 2-5min) when your pin is nice and hot you just stick it in your pick where you want the hole to be *also if you do it this way be sure to be in a well ventilated room there will be fumes
now open your jump ring and attach your charms and chain close it and you got a cute little rocker necklace
