Cast on 50 stitches Knit 5 rows in moss stitch. Knit stitches alternating with purl (knit stitches above knit stitches, purl stitches above purl)
Eyelet stitch Row 1 - Knit in garter stitch Row 2 - Knit the first stitch, *knit the next two stitches together, transfer the wool between your needles to the front of your work and then around the right needle* Repeat *…* till there is one stitch left, knit this stitch normally. Row 3 - Knit in garter stitch Due to the eyelet stitch row you will lose one stitch along the way. In the next moss stitch rows increase one stitch to have a total of 50 stitches again. Do this after every eyelet stitch combination.
-Knit 20 rows in moss stitch (don't forget to increase one stitch in one of these rows) -Repeat the the eyelet stitch from step 2 -Knit 5 rows moss stitch -Repeat the the eyelet stitch from step 2 -knit 20 rows in moss stitch -Repeat the the eyelet stitch from step 2 -Knit 5 rows in moss stitch Cast off!
Sew the two sides together and viola perfect snood which is soft cuddly and visually interesting!
