Step by step tutorial on how to create a gorgeous emerald green smokey eye (perfect for the holidays) using Urban Decay & Makeup Geek eyeshadows. Let's get started!
Fill brow and apply eyeshadow primer all over the eye. Apply a nude shadow (MBA Cosmetics loose mineral shadow - Nudey Booty) all over lid.
Apply NAKED on the crease and lower lash line with a big fluffy blending brush (Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush) for transition color and to create shape of smokey eye.
Next take BUCK and blend in crease and lower lash line same as NAKED.
With a smaller blending brush (Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Eye Brush) apply COCOA BEAR on crease and lower lash line, careful not to take up when blending.
Apply a green eyeliner pencil (Hello Kitty Charmmy Kohl Eyeliner - Bicycle) to the lid and lower lash line for a base for the green shadow. Smudge out any lines.
Apply LOADED on top of green base and take same blending brush as used for COCOA BEAR and blend slightly just so the colors transition smoothly. Do not blend this up at all.
Take a shimmery turquoise shadow (DEEP END) and dab gently with finger on the center of lid to add more dimension to the green. Apply SHIMMA SHIMMA to the inner corner for highlight.
Apply black eyeliner (Loreal Silkissime Black Eyeliner) to the tight line and water line. Gently apply a fine line to lash line (to help hide our lash band) and blend out with smudger brush (Real Techniques Accent Brush).
Curl lashes and apply mascara. Apply false lashes, if you wish. Top lashes are Le Petite Lapin Lashes - Babette and bottom are MBA Cosmetics Lower Lashes - Extra Long
