I made this little lady from a childhood photo for her high school graduation, she is made with a wire armature with aluminum foil wrapped around it for a body and a ball of foil for the head, then coordinating the school graduation colors for her robe, (using polymer clay for clothing, skin and hair, and honey bee) the face took me the longest trying to get it to resemble the photo, when all was set the way I wanted out I baked the clay to set it. When it cooled I painted the eyes with acrylic paint, added pink cheeks and pink lips using pastel chalks, then I used a gloss finish to the lips and eyes to highlight a wet look. The little lady had lost her step father but she always called him her honey bee that's why there is a bee on her cap.
