Styling Tips: 1. This shift dress is elegant enough to make its own statement, but gold jewelry (especially bracelets) would set off the motif. 2. Belt the dress with a neutral, light colored sash or belt.

Gather your materials.
Cut two strips of lace trim to measure the entire length of the dress.
Cut apart one of your strips: cut away the trim's edges.
Then, cut out the small flower motifs inside the strip.
You should have one long strip of trim intact, and now two new piles of trim from your fancy scissor-work.
Glue your intact strip of trim down the center front of the dress.
Let dry completely.
Glue scalloped trim edges parallel to large center strip, from bottom to top.
Let dry completely.
Affix trim scrap flowers around the parallel strips to create desired motif.
Let dry completely, and try it on!
