Description

This is a light and tasty dinner or lunch, the chilli on the prawns perfectly compliments the fresh basil pesto.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the prawns so they are ready to be cooked

  2. Place in a small bowl and add the lemon juice, cayenne pepper, garlic and salt and pepper

  3. Add a little olive oil to a small frying pan and place on a medium to high heat

  4. Add the prawns and cook until the prawns have a slightly crisp outer shell, about 5-10 minutes

  5. To make the pesto, place the basil, pine nuts and garlic in a blender

  6. While blending, drizzle in the olive oil

  7. Season to taste

  8. Cook the spaghetti, add the pesto (you might not use it all) and top with the prawns
