Using an old vintage globe, learn how to store your favorite alcoholic beverage inside the center of the earth.
Watch the online tutorial.
Dust of that vintage world globe.
Carefully with a box cutter, cut through the equator of the globe.
Find a pedestal to use for a base for globe. (I used the base of a plastic flower pot.
Use metallic gold spray paint and paint the inside of both globe halves and pedestal base.
Trace out the round shape of globe to a piece of thin particle board. (I found an old stereo cabinet backing)
Trace out 3 kidney bean shapes around the circle wide enough to slip the base of a wine glass inside. Then cut out using a jig saw.
Screw bottom globe half to the plastic pedestal base.
Cut a small circle of particle wood and place inside the bottom of globe half and hot glue wine glass rack to the top of globe half.
Use the globe compass and hot glue on the glass rack base.
Screw in a small henge to the back side of globe and attach top globe half as a lid.
Screw in a vintage glass cabinet knob to the top of globe half so the globe can a way to open.
Lastly, fill the center of the Earth with your favorite alcoholic beverage and rest wine glasses around the rack.
