I've always envied bars with personalised coasters so when our custom stamper from Maemae & Co arrived, I was inspired to use it to stamp and heat emboss some sparkly coasters for the CO+K cocktail bar!

You Will Need (8 things)
- Custom Rubber Stamp from Maemae & Co
- Wood Circles (I got a pack of 8 at Hobby Craft)
- Black Paint
- Paint Brush
- Glittery Embossing Powder
- Matching Ink
- Paper to catch your loose embossing powder
- Heat Gun
Steps (12 steps, 20 minutes)
-
1
For this you'll need a set of 8 wooden circles, large enough for coasters. You could cut your own but I managed to find a pack at Hobby Craft which were the perfect size.
-
2
Lay a sheet of scrap paper on your desk and paint each circle with black paint and leave to dry.
-
3
Apply a second coat of black paint if it needs it and leave to dry again.
-
4
Gather your materials, you'll need a rubber stamp, glittery embossing powder and ink in a matching colour.
-
5
Coat your stamp with lots of ink. Make sure it's coated evenly.
-
6
Firmly press the stamp down in the middle of your coaster. Apply a nice even pressure across the stamp to make your design come out perfectly.
-
7
Carefully remove the stamp to reveal your design.
-
8
Cover the entire coaster with lots and lots of embossing powder.
-
9
Pick up your coaster and shake off any excess powder on to the paper. Carefully lift the paper and shake the powder back into it's pot.
-
10
Hold a heat gun a few inches away from your design and heat until all the powder has fused.
-
11
Continue making a whole set of coasters.

Pour yourself a stiff drink and enjoy your new coasters!
